LOUISVILLE, Ky. — An annual campaign is underway to help provide needy families and individuals with gifts, winter clothes and meals throughout the holiday season.

Tandee Ogburn came by the WLKY studio to tell us more about the Hope for the Holidays campaign.

The 18th Annual Turkey Shoot serves as a kickoff to Volunteers of America's Hope for the Holidays campaign, a community appeal for holiday gifts, winter accessories, and monetary contributions to support homeless families, adults in addiction recovery and their children, and individuals with developmental disabilities.

The Hope for the Holidays campaign provides gifts, coats, warm winter accessories, and a holiday meal.

If you would like to contribute, you can donate online.

Visit any Heine Brothers location in the Louisville area and drop off winter accessories such as gloves and scarves for all ages.

Or you can donate gift cards to budget-friendly stores and new items such as pajamas and games for all ages.
