Families Struggling with Substance Abuse Receive Federal Help
Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Rep. Hal Rogers announced Monday Volunteers of America Mid-States (VOA) was given a $700,000 federal grant from the Department of Justice (DOJ) Office for Victims of Crime's (OVC) grant.
The Family Recovery Court will be built in Clay County, located in the eastern half of the state. The court will help reunite families involved with child protective services and at the same time keeping children safe.
