Volunteer spotlight: Papa John's
Papa John's employees painted bookshelves and other
areas at LFHS as part of a company volunteer project.
Last summer, Papa John's employee Hillary Chin attended one of our Real³ Journey tours as a guest of board member Taylor Amerman, Responsibility Manager at Brown-Forman. After experiencing the tour, Hillary was moved to get involved and become an ambassador for Volunteers of America. As a Community Project Specialist for Papa John's, Hillary not only organized a volunteer project at Louisville Family Housing Services, but she also helped facilitate Papa John's participation in our 2015 Hope for the Holidays program. For the first time, Hope for the Holidays donation bins will be placed in more than 50 Papa John's stores in our service area! Additionally, Hope for the Holidays flyers will be placed on top of Papa John's pizza boxes from starting November 20.
We are thrilled to have such wonderful board members, like Taylor, who make it possible to cultivate meaningful community partnerships. This partnership with Papa John's also highlights the importance of inviting your friends, family, neighbors and colleagues to a Real³ Journey, because sharing our work with the community allows for us to cultivate meaningful relationships with our supporters to help us further our mission to create positive change for individuals and our communities.
