VOA Today: Moral Resilience Webinar

Moral Resilience for Social Service Workers During COVID-19
Thursday, May 21, 2020
11:00 am - 12:30 pm EDT
Estimates are that half of all COVID-19 deaths have taken place outside of hospitals. Yet little attention has been paid to the moral distress of those working in long term care facilities, homeless shelters, mentally-disabled housing, and transitional or low income housing facilities. This webinar includes panelists from New York, California, and Alabama, who will discuss providing care under the particular challenges of their work contexts, how they are coping with those challenges, and how others of us can support their moral resilience.
This will be a Zoom call, space is limited. Register at https://bit.ly/2ZdViF6
Space is limited. To be assured a space please register by 5 PM EDT on Tuesday, May 19.
The recorded webinar can be accessed through VOA Connect on May 22.
