Volunteers of America welcome 200th baby born through Freedom House program

The Freedom House is celebrating a big milestone that was delivered in a small package.

Julian is the 200th baby born through the Freedom House program.

Volunteers of America helps drug-addicted women get clean and deliver healthy babies.

Julian and his mother, Veronica, are both happy and healthy.

Veronica said the Freedom House helped her turn her life around.

"I knew that God when gave me another baby he was like, 'Veronica, you got to straighten up. You have to.' And here he is, healthy as can be."

Julian was born last Thursday and weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces.
