Veterans’ Unity Point

Providing a supportive and welcoming setting connecting veterans to our community.

Serving Lexington, Kentucky

VOA’s Moral Injury and Preventing Suicide (MIPS) program provides case management to connect veterans, active-duty members, and veterans who are first responders to mental health services that prevent suicide and address moral injury, bringing stability to them and their families.

Located in Kenwick Community Center at: 313 Owsley Avenue, Lexington, KY 40502

We are open!

On August 21, we celebrated the ribbon cutting of Veterans’ Unity Point at Kenwick Community Center!

This new space offers veterans in Lexington a welcoming place to connect, access support, and enjoy events like cookouts, pancake breakfasts, holiday parties, and more—all designed to build community and connection.

A special thank you to Mayor Linda Gorton, the Lexington Commission on Veterans Affairs, and Lexington Parks and Recreation for their support in making this project a reality.

We’re also grateful to Anne Vandervort and the entire VOA Honor team for their hard work in bringing this critical resource to life for Lexington’s veteran community.
