Intellectual and Developmental Disability Services – Northern Kentucky
Boone, Campbell, and Kenton counties
This program helps individuals with developmental disabilities live safe, healthy, and engaged lives. Services include health care coordination, transportation, and around-the-clock care at three group homes with seven or eight residents each; three neighborhood-based homes with three residents each; a respite home that offers short stays for individuals with developmental disabilities who live with family members; and community living supports for family members who care for individuals with developmental disabilities at home. Those who are able are encouraged to become involved in their communities, which is made possible through Volunteers of America’s in-home support staff, day programs, supportive employment, and other specialized services.

Clark and Floyd counties
Comprised of a network of 9 neighborhood-based homes, the Supportive Living Program in Clark and Floyd counties in Indiana provides quality in-home support for individuals with developmental disabilities. Services include health care coordination, transportation, and around-the-clock care. Those who are able are encouraged to become involved in their communities, which is made possible through Volunteers of America’s in-home support staff, supported employment, and other specialized services.

Middle and West Tennessee
This program helps individuals with cognitive and developmental disabilities through our network of supportive living homes in the Nashville metro area, Memphis, and Murfreesboro. Residents of the homes, many of whom are aging and require medical oversight, receive around-the-clock care and support. Those who are able are encouraged to become involved in their communities, which is made possible through Volunteers of America’s in-home support staff, day programs, supportive employment, and other specialized services.
Supported Employment
Our Supported Employment team in Clark and Floyd Counties in Indiana works to find fulfilling, rewarding and productive jobs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We work with area employers to find jobs that match our individuals’ skill sets and abilities. We work to put them in position to succeed personally and to be valuable employees in their workplaces. Volunteers of America clients are working successfully in great area employers like Mark’s Feed Store, the Louisville Slugger Factory and Museum and Hitachi. Our employees gain confidence and pride while building skills and earning market wages. Employers find that our clients are reliable and productive employees who also boost company morale and improve customer satisfaction.
